PHILADELPHIA, May 27, 2009/Diverse News/- Supreme Court Judge Nominee Sonia Sotomayor’s own statements are leaving her in hot water. Although with no actual claims of racism (the mainstream media has an unwritten rule to only charge whites with that – racist in itself-even though whites are the world minority) from speeches she has given over the years.
In the below video, the White House Press Secretary Gibbs warns critics to “be exceedingly careful”.
Part of her speech in question was from 2001 goes like this:
“wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences,” including appreciation for Latin-American cuisine, “would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
Switch ethnicities around and imagine the stories from the mainstream.
