PHILADELPHIA, PA \ January 14, 2013 \ DIVERSE NEWS COMMENTARY –This bridge scandal has been all over the headlines over the last few days. Then came the use of money for commercials that he [Christie] starred in. The bridge scandal won’t go anywhere as the people involved were already taken care of [sic].
Now, the scandal from the disaster funds for Hurricane Sandy won’t go anywhere.
Why?
Because, and this is very simple, Christie was actually rebuilding the Jersey shore by doing those commercials. This, by sending a clear message that the shore was ready for more. He helped rebuild the businesses that lost so much from the devastation of the Hurricane by attracting those who may have thought things weren’t rebuilt or cleaned up.
So, technically, that $25M was used in good faith and it brought people back to the shore thus rebuilding, NJ.
Good job, Governor!
