PHILADELPHIA, PA \ APRIL 17, 2013 \ DIVERSE NEWS —So, as I am heading over to get on the El, I was at a stop light, and I overheard a conversation between two chaps and the taller one said, “I wonder if there is ever going to be an attack here between Arab terrorists and the Jews.. I mean there are so many that have been coming over in recent years.” – I asked him if he wanted to get interviewed, but he declined even after promising anonymity. I guess it was the terror bombings in Boston that triggered their conversation.
When I got on the El, I was intercepted by two undercover agents. One I remember from before, he always played the guy asking for money. After testing his views along with the other agent with the beard, I left and sat down at the other end of the train. I noticed a guy wearing a black yamika along with those long side burns. He was already reading a book in Hebrew, so I had to interrupt him. The audio in some spots was kind of grainy, so after I asked him for an interview, I wanted to know about the current relationship between American Arabs and Jews and the lack of violence as per the Middle East from the decades it has been in the media. This is just the cooincidence of the day. And like the first Jew, that actually dressed like a Jew, I saw on the El:
El-Fanon, as he said it was his Hebrew name, was pretty positive about Arabs and Muslims being in America, saying that they are moderate and looking for a better life. He gave me his views on Jews and Arabs and learned me on history. He even mentioned, after I asked him where Europeans came from: ‘They are descendants of Noah – but not Abraham.’
The question in my mind was, if Europeans came from Noah, who is from Abraham, that means we are all basically related. So, how can there be any anti-Semitism, which the white Europeans usually get accused of but not vice-versa (whatever that’s called)?
Questions like this are so puzzling but I guess it’s the way the media portrays certain folks that they choose to demonize.
