PHILADELPHIA, PA / April 5, 2013 / DIVERSE NEWS COMMENTARY — We as Americans, seem to make a mistake sometimes when voting for someone that we think will share our views and vote. Then they don’t vote your way as promised. Our system is designed in an antiquated way, where someone gets elected, decides what is best for you until the next election and winds up getting lobbied into voting or supporting things that do not represent the constituent’s vote all the time.
I have the solution:
With the age of the internet and digital technology, this can truly be made a country where the people can vote on every single bill brought to the floor and have it counted as a true vote for you and your district.
This can be done by telephone; by secure internet connections and by U.S. Mail. So, for every Bill that is put on the floor, the people would be able to vote for it by calling the designated telephone number, entering their vote; connecting to the voting website and vote; or by mailing their vote letter. This within a certain time window for every Bill (Bills can be categorized and number with yea/nea) which can be performed regarding our Bill of Rights or other Freedoms. It could be set up to present the bills that are coming up monthly to give citizens time to review, then submit their votes in a timely fashion.
This must be done. With current events, for example, the majority of Americans appear to want to be able to keep their right to bear arms. But with the media mind-control efforts to have their rights infringed by utilizing polls and interviews with people who appear to side with their agenda – this without removing the 2nd Amendment – they cannot. Thus laws are placed into effect that do infringe on their rights, but oh, the 2nd Amendment is still ‘there’.The time is now for the people to vote on everything that affects their rights without the fear of lobbying or media behavioral modification but with their actual vote on every Bill that effects their liberties and where their taxes are going.-Kelly Kuznits,Diverse News
